SDS RETURNS TO THE HIGHWAYS UK SHOW

SDS’s industry-leading products reliably protect the UK’s highways from surface water flooding and shield the surrounding environment from pollution. Exciting developments in our company during 2019 mean we are returning to the Highways UK show with news of an expanding product portfolio.

Visitors to our Stand C31 will learn of new developments in our SYMBiotIC^TM innovative control technologies that will enable smart water management systems to be integrated with our existing product ranges.

After being shortlisted for last year’s Innovation Awards, we’ll be bringing the latest news of SDS Aqua-Xchange^TM, the sustainable drainage innovation that turns roadside filter drains into devices that prevent toxic metals pollution. Since last year’s show, the first UK installation has been successfully installed to clean-up pollution on the M56 in Cheshire, and there are plans for further projects in the pipeline.

SDS is now the UK’s exclusive manufacturer and supplier of Weholite pipes, thanks to the recent acquisition of Asset International. Weholite HDPE structure wall systems come with a coveted HAPAS (Highways Authorities Product Approval Scheme) accreditation and combine outstanding performance with value and ease of installation.

Our water quality expert Jo Bradley joins a programme of distinguished speakers to discuss “How NOT to design highway drainage in the 21st century.” See her presentation at 11.50am on Wednesday in the Tarmac Civils and Materials Dome.
